ok i know it's not my place & it's none of my business but i just thought you might wanna try it anyway. i can't say it with 100% certainty but I am almost positive that brushes created in CS work in 7 too. Their both ".abr" files, right? So they should work. Anyway it's worth a try, sorry for commenting "out of place" ;)

these look lovely. Do you mind if I use the image stamps to create the set for Gimp? You would be fully credited of course. You can see an eg. of my converted brushes in my gallery (faeries).
